Parents and children will be judging a brand new school meal next week.
Testing their taste buds, the session will determine which dishes appear on Enfield Borough Council’s new school menu in April.
Councillor Ayfer Orhan, Enfield’s cabinet member for children and young people, said: “All the tasters will be asked to complete a form giving their views about the new dishes.
"This year there are some excellent new meals to add to the regular variety that includes traditional British roasts and shepherd’s pie; as well as fresh salads.”
The testing will take place on Wednesday, January 22 at Enfield Civic Centre in Silver Street.
The menu includes:
- Salmon and Hoki Paella
- Moroccan Chicken served with Cous Cous & Organic Carrots
- Vegetable & Lentil Patti (V) served with Sweet Chilli Salsa
- Jamaican Ginger Cake
- Turkish Apple Cake
