A man has been jailed for 23 years after he shot two people outside a petrol station.
Admir Bregaj, 26, of no fixed abode, was sentenced at the Old Bailey yesterday for three counts of attempted murder and one count of possessing a gun.
The Albanian national had previously pleaded guilty to shooting at three people and injuring two outside a petrol station in Chase Side in Southgate on September 7 at 10.20pm.
The three victims had arranged to meet a man about a business venture involving a car wash.
Shortly afterwards, two men arrived on foot and an argument broke out.
Bregaj then arrived at the scene, pulled out a gun from the front of his trousers and fired at one of the victims, who jumped in his car in an effort to escape.
Another victim tried to get into the car but Bregaj shot him in the buttocks.
A third man tried to disarm Bregaj, only to be shot in the pelvis and ankle.
Bregaj then fled the scene.
He was arrested on October 8 and remanded in custody.
Detective Inspector Glenn Butler of Trident Gang Crime Command, which carried out the investigation, said:
"This significant sentence reflects the serious nature of this offence. Bregaj fired numerous shots in a public area over a seemingly trivial argument about a business venture.
“This would have been a terrifying experience for the victims, who thankfully have now made a full recovery from their injuries.
"I hope this result sends a clear message that Trident officers will continue to relentlessly pursue and bring to justice those individuals who bring harm to their communities through acts of violence, gun and gang criminality."
