Employees from Fairview New Homes in Enfield raised more than £700 for charity to support a colleague who recovered from illness.
Fairview employees decided to give the proceeds from its Christmas raffle to Meningitis Now after one staff member contracted bacterial meningitis earlier this year.
The woman was in a coma for three weeks but made a full recovery and is now back at work.
Steven Allenby, sales director of the Lancaster Road company, said: “We choose a different charity every year and everyone was keen to support Meningitis Now this year.
“We had about 40 prizes ranging from bottles of wine and chocolates to vouchers, including a voucher to dine at The Shard.
“Our staff have a great record when it comes to fundraising and everyone has given generously to support this worthwhile cause.”
