Enfield Borough Council is flying its flags at half mast in honour of Nelson Mandela, who died yesterday.
Mr Mandela was the first black president of South Africa and spent 27 years in prison for his campaign against apartheid. He died in his home in Johannesburg last night.
The council has lowered their flag and displayed the South African flag to half mast as a sign of mourning.
