Two hairdressers from Enfield were in for a surprise when attending a photo-shoot to gain experience
When two hairdressers went to a photo shoot to widen their hairdressing skills they had no idea what lay ahead of them.
Styling at the shoot with beauty company Clynol and award winning photographer Richard Miles, the pair from 77 The Hill salon in Windmill Hill, Enfield, had their work chosen for use in a national marketing campaign.
Owner Mel Ferlisi and stylist Natalina Milazzo worked with the full Clynol team on the shoot to produce the campaign cover. The owner admits she was surprised at how the day unfolded.
She said: “We booked onto the course to learn something new. This was an opportunity to extend our salon skills into session work which is totally different to life on the salon floor.
“We’re so pleased with the work that we’ve created but to have Clynol pick it out of all the photography that a global company like this has access to is an amazing honour.”
Clynol's national technical manager Stephen Mcdowell said: "The colour work that 77 The Hill produces is really fantastic and we are looking at using the shots in a national campaign to promote blondes. The final decision is with the international team but all the signs are looking great.
“We love working with salons like 77 The Hill, our brand strap line is 'Shaped by Stylists' and it's really important for us that talent stylists are at the heart of what we do."
