Groundwork Hertfordshire will offer Halloween horror at Bush Hill Park in Enfield
Excitable youngsters will get the chance to bring Halloween to life in a special festive safari day at Bush Hill Park.
The Hut in the park will be transformed into a cauldron of wizardry, hosting activities such as wand, cape and magic potion making on Thursday, October 31.
The day, run by the Groundwork Hertfordshire charity with help from the Bush Hill Park Friends group, will also offer a chance to hunt bugs and learn about the nature in the surrounding area.
Philippa Statter, environmental education officer at Groundwork, said: “This is a great opportunity for children and their families to get involved in fun activities as well as learning about wildlife in their local park."
There are two sessions running from 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4pm, costing £3.50 per session or £6 for the day.
The event is open to all ages though children younger than eight years old will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
