Fitness guru launches her own training camp
A businesswoman turned fitness and modelling world champion will be setting up her own training camp to help more women follow in her footsteps.
A former events manager in the city, Emma Louise Burrows, 29, of Kirkland Drive, Enfield, changed her life two years ago when she took up fitness and modelling and hasn’t looked back.
However, the Miss Galaxy Universe of 2012, a competition which is judged on a combination of rigorous fitness tests and modelling skills, is launching her own training camp for women who are aspiring to succeed in modelling, fitness or business world.
Ms Burrows said: “Fitness has changed my life for the better in so many different ways and now I want to be able to give something back and teach girls how to get into the industry and succeed in life.
“I am starting off with a group of ten young girls and we will be working on loads of different things such as becoming a fitness competitor, modelling, stage presence and how get into modelling.
“I worked so hard to get the position I am in now, the hours of training I had to put in to make sure I was in excellent physical condition was gruelling. Anyone can achieve anything with hard work and determination.”
The ELB Camp will be launched on Sunday, October 13 at The Place fitness studio in Oakwood Parade, Bush Hill Park.
