Finalists of ITV show The X Factor have moved into a £5million mansion in Enfield.

The 12 acts on the talent show were selected during last weekend's episodes and have moved into the multi-million pound home in Broad Walk, Winchmore Hill.

Once owned by singer Lionel Richie, the property has its own swimming pool and table tennis table.

The decision was made to put the singers in a house for the first time since 2011 after competitors Lucy Spraggan and Rylan Clark were thrown out of the Corinthia Hotel in London because of drunken antics.

The move to a central London hotel came after it was reported that the contestant’s home in 2011 at Connaught House in Hertfordshire, was no further than 200 yards from a ‘drugs cache.’ The home was also nicknamed the ‘naughty house’ by the singers.

The live shows of the singing competition begin this weekend and will run until December 15.
