Motorcyclist taken to hospital after a hit and run incident outside a primary school causing tailbacks
A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a hit and run crash, causing gridlock in Enfield Town.
A 27-year-old man was airlifted to Royal London Hospital after being hit by a car in Southbury Road, Enfield, causing the road to close between Clysach Road and Craddock Road junctions.
Ambulance services were called at 10.47am and treated the man for chest injuries at the scene, outside George Spicer Primary School in Southbury Road.
Police closed the road, and tailbacks at the Willow Road and Southbury Road junction were managed by traffic officers.
