Chase Farm Hospital has raised hundreds of pounds for McMillan cancer charity as part of their coffee morning
Chase Farm Hospital has raised more than £400 for a cancer support charity as part of a coffee morning.
Sweet treats and cups of tea and coffee helped raise a handsome total of £450 for Macmillan Cancer Support as part of their ‘World’s Biggest Coffee morning’ on Friday, September 27, at the hospital in The Ridgeway, Enfield.
Kerry Briars, Macmillan's area fundraising manager, said: “I’m really grateful to everyone who put on the kettle or baked up a storm by holding a coffee morning this year to raise vital funds for Macmillan.
“No one should face cancer alone and just by enjoying some coffee and cake you’ve all made a massive difference to people affected by cancer.”
