Jamie Marsh-Smith has been charged with attempted murder linked to the fatal shooting of Zafer Eren in Southgate
A man has been charged with an attempted murder linked to the killing of a Tottenham man in April.
Jamie Marsh-Smith, 22, will appear in custody at City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court this morning. He has been bailed in relation to the murder of Zafer Eren, 34, who was shot dead in Medway, Southgate on April 18.
Police arrested Mr Marsh-Smith on Monday, September 30, following appeals from the Metropolitan Police to find the suspect. Another man, aged 20, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has now been bailed.
The investigation into the death of the Tottenham man continues and a substantial reward of up to £30,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the murder has been offered.
Samuel Zeria, 20, of Hathersage Court, Newington Green, will appear in custody at the Old Bailey for trial on November 11 charged with the murder of Mr Eren.
