Running enthusiasts, get prepared for charity 10km fun run in Enfield on Sunday
Running shoes will be ready on the doormat when an annual fun run returns this weekend.
Almost 1,000 people entered last year’s 10K run through Forty Hall in Forty Hill, Enfield, and this year runners' finishing times will be measured with free chip timers.
For those under 16, a 3K races has been put on, with the 10km race for those aged 16 and over and all proceeds given to the Mayor of Enfield’s chosen charities.
Councillor Bambos Charalambous, Enfield Borough Council’s cabinet member for leisure, culture, youth and localism said: “The fun run will allow everyone to show their athletic side and take part in these fun races.
“You can take part as an individual, family or group. If you are unable to take part then why not sponsor someone to race?”
All competitors will receive a free T-shirt as the event kicks off at 10am.
