Festival extravaganza starts today
The wait is finally over as the 60th Enfield Town Autumn Festival kicks off today.
Award winning artists, dancers and musicians from across the borough will be taking centre stage at the Town Park, Enfield Town on a bumper weekend of action.
The festival runs from 11.00am until 6.00pm. Adults pay £3, or £2 for those with concessions.
Cameron Sanderson, 16,, who starred at this year's Spellbound Festival in Edmonton will be performing, as will Lurine Cato, who scooped the best recorded song award at the Gospel Awards in Germany last year with her hit ‘You Revive Me.’
Councillor Bambos Charalambous, Enfield Council’s cabinet member for leisure culture, youth and localism, said: “It is fantastic to host The Enfield Town Autumn Show again, which is now its 60th year, and to see the host of great talent from right across Enfield.
“There will be something for everyone at the show, music for all tastes and by performers of all ages. So make sure you don’t miss out, and come down to Town Park, and enjoy the show!”
