Enfield's blind encouraged to join Tottenham scheme
Visually impaired people from Enfield can now sign up for a free community programme launched by a football club.
The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is running a six-week programme to help those with sight loss and develop life skills.
Beginning on Wednesday, September 4, the foundation, along with charity Action for Blind People will encourage people to enrol into the free programme.
Places must be booked in advance and sessions will include problem solving, advice and guidance, practical skills and addressing the emotional side of sight loss with group activities aimed to gain confidence.
People who sign up will only have to attend on one day a week for each of the six weeks.
