Football fun day raises money for cancer charity
A football fun day was held by an Enfield youth team to raise money for a children’s cancer charity.
Enfield playing fields was the stage for penalty shoot-outs, tournaments, skills sessions and a barbecue held by Olympiacos Youth FC to raise money for CLIC Sargent – the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families.
The day, held on Saturday, July 14, raised £1,096.
CLIC Sargent fundraising manager Nicola White said: “Thank you to Olympiacos Youth FC for deciding to hold another event on behalf of children and young people with cancer. They raised such a fantastic amount that will really help support the services that CLIC Sargent offer.”
