Borrowing bikes made free at Enfield park
Exploring an Enfield park will be made easier as bike borrowing becomes free.
Forty Hall, Enfield will now be offering six bikes to be borrowed for up to six hours free of charge, with two mobility scooters also being available.
Councillor Bambos Charalambous, who is responsible for leisure at Enfield Borough Council, said: “Forty Hall is a fantastic location steeped in history and one Enfield Council wants as many people as possible to learn about and enjoy. That is why we are opening the area up to would-be explorers by providing free bikes and mobility scooters to get around on.
“This latest initiative builds on a range of improvements already carried out at the hall designed to make it accessible for disabled people, and those who cannot walk long distances, and I’m sure the mobility scooters will prove to be a popular addition to the facilities there.”
