Fun day to be held at vet centre
An Enfield Vet will be throwing a fun day for an Enfield wildlife rescue service.
Medivet, a 24-hour veterinary service will provide a plethora of activities and supply hot food at their base in 673 Hertford Road, Enfield on Sunday, August 25.
The earnings will be donated to the Trent Park Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance service (WRAS) who tend to sick and injured animals across North London and Herfordshire.
As well as plenty of goodies to be had, a raffle will take place at the centre with an Amazon Kindle as first prize.
Barry Smitherman, co-founder of the WRAS, said: “We have a great working relationship with Medivet especially as they are an out of hours vet, they will always take in animals we rescue.
“As we are so busy caring for injured animals, there is very little time for us to do any fund raising so to have Medivet do something like this is very welcoming, we are extremely grateful.”
