'Report It' button launched
Reporting problems such as potholes or fly tipping in Enfield has now been made easier as a new initiative is launched.
The ‘Report It’ button is a new online service produced by Enfield Borough Council to give Enfield residents the chance to report issues concerning roads, alleyways and streets by computer, smartphone or tablet.
The service on www.enfield.gov.uk means locals can complain about problems in Enfield and an officer will survey issue and repair the problem within 28 days.
Councillor Achilleas Georgiou, who visited a pothole being repaired after it was reported online was positive about the new system.
He said: “This service is fantastic. If anyone sees a problem anywhere in the borough that needs attention, whether it is a pothole, or an issue with the street lights, pavements, bushes or trees they just go online to the ‘Report It’ section, fill in a few details and we do the rest.
“The process is simple, quick and easy to do. It was very interesting to meet the teams and see the whole process from start to finish, how quick it is to fill out an online form, see one received and then watch the team actually fixing the problem at the end of the process.”
