Schoolchildren keep their cool to win prize
Children from an Enfield school are keeping their cool this summer after winning a special machine.
Eversley Primary School in Chaseville Park Road, Enfield has won an ice-cold tap water machine in a competition to design water bottles for Thames Water.
The school’s winning design will now be used on the water firm’s bottles across London and the Thames Valley, with the Enfield school the first in London to have a HydraChill machine fitted.
Nick Davis, managing director of HydraChill, said: “It’s extremely heart-warming to see our machine receiving such fantastic use by the Eversley children. It’s a superb aid to improving their hydration and reducing packaging waste.”
