Pupils from a Bushey school will represent Hertsmere in a white water rafting competition at the Lee Valley White Water Centre next week.
Students from Queens’ School, in Aldenham Road, will be challenging other schools from across Hertfordshire, Essex and London in the contest next Monday and Tuesday.
The third annual schools festival will see students competing at the same venue where Team GB won gold and silver medals at the Olympics last summer.
Lee Valley Regional Park Authority chief executive, Shaun Dawson, said they are very pleased to be hosting the third annual schools festival.
He added: "We’re expecting this festival to be just as successful as the previous ones which have involved over 2,500 pupils not least because the participants will have been inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympics."
