Police have cordoned off the area while they investigate
A man has been killed in a shooting in Southgate this evening.
Police were called to Fontaine Court, opposite The Meadway, at approximately 7.20pm to reports of a shooting.
A 34-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made, and the victim's family has been told.
High Street is closed both ways while police continue to investigate.
