The future of the fire brigade in Enfield, Barnet and Haringey will be discussed in a meeting later this month.
The London Fire Brigade is encouraging people to attend the public consultation in Haringey Civic Centre in Wood Green High Road at 7pm on Thursday, April 18.
The meeting will discuss the Draft Fifth London Safety Plan, which outlines how the authority will lead the capital’s fire service over the next three years.
Under current plans, an extra fire engine will come to Hendon in Barnet, and there will be no changes to the number of fire engines or fire stations in Enfield or Haringey.
The authority hopes to make savings worth £28.8million by closing 12 fire stations, cutting back on 18 fire engines, relocating four fire engines and cutting the number of firefighters by 520.
