Traders battle it out in Federation of Small Businesses competition

Independent traders are being urged to show judges what they are made of in a London-wide competition.

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has launched their London business awards, with categories including best new business, employee of the year, retailer of the year, and Enfield Council small business of the year.

Entries for each of the 13 categories close on May 15, with the winners announced on June 27. 

Head Judge Steve Warwick, chairman of FSB in London, said: “I am looking forward to stories of companies growing despite the general economy and of people who have overcome personal difficulties."
