Children of hospital staff got an insight into the lives of firefighters as part of a nursery project.
Youngsters from Chase Farm Staff Nursery – who are children of workers at Chase Farm Hospital in The Ridgeway – visited Edmonton Fire Station in Church Street to learn first hand about the emergency services.
The inquisitive tots sat in the engines, sounded the sirens, learnt how to use a hose and tried on face masks and helmets on Friday.
