Meeting in Palmers Green to tackle confusion over elderly care
9:20am Wednesday 13th March 2013 in News By Hermione Wright
Banishing confusion when it comes to paying for care as people get older is the aim of a free seminar on Monday.
Experts in the field, including people who write wills, will lead the seminar at the Ruth Winston Centre in Palmers Green at 6.45pm.
Ken Waterhouse, managing director of Home Care Preferred in Winchmore Hill, is organising the event in Green Lanes.
He said: “Governments over the years have not planned the funding of an ageing population and we are seeing the results of this now.
“People need to be aware of what benefits they are entitled to and also how to best fund their care, maybe using a combination of benefits and personal assets and savings.”
To book a place, contact Mr Waterhouse on ken@homecarepreferred.com or 0208 364 3670.
