Children from Tara Kindergartens Day Nursery in Southgate take part in Chatterbox Challenge

Children enjoyed a week of fun at their nursery to raise money for charity.

Fifty-five tots from Tara Kindergartens Day Nursery in Burleigh Parade in Southgate dressed as their favourite story characters, watched puppet shows, decorated story boxes and were treated to a tea party last week.

The activities formed the Chatterbox Challenge which took place in nurseries, pre-schools and childminding groups throughout the UK to raise money for charity I CAN, which supports children with communication difficulties.

Nursery manager Marianne van Brandenburg said children all had a great time and £60 had so far been raised from donations.
