The North London Hospice, which provides specialist care for terminally ill people, has been awarded two national architectural awards.
The hospice's day services building in Barrowell Green, Winchmore Hill, was one of 32 entries recognised as an outstanding example of architecture and environmental design at the Civic Trust Awards.
The building's design also earned the prize for the Special Award for Sustainability at a ceremony held at City Hall in Cardiff.
Chief executive Douglas Bennett said: "To win not just one but two Civic Trust awards is an outstanding achievement.
"The aim of Hospice was to create a facility that would provide a special environment for patients and carers at such a difficult time in their lives and for the staff who support them."
