The new fast track card is aimed at small businesses
People wanting to speed up delivering parcels at the post office can make use of a new pay-as-you go scheme.
Ten post offices in the borough have launched a new Drop and Go service, which is aimed at small businesses and people who sell products over the internet.
It provides people who spend more than £20 a week with a fast track pre-paid card to deliver parcels while providing a separate counter for them to hand in their mail.
Davyd Nash, head of post office small business mailing services, said: “Over half of small businesses visit our post office branches every week. We want to make our services as easy to access as possible.
“This new service allows them to simply drop off their mail and leave it to the post office team to process.”
