D'jon Brown, from Edmonton, on trial in dog attack case in Enfield Highway

A man charged in connection with a burglary in which a pet dog was stabbed is due to go on trial next month.

D'jon Brown, 21, of Picketts Lock Lane in Edmonton, was charged with aggravated burglary following the incident in Broadfield Square in Enfield Highway at approximately 9.45pm on November 5 last year.

The family’s Staffordshire bull terrier needed medical attention to the wound in its neck, but survived the attack.

Mr Brown was bailed following his appearance at Tottenham Magistrates Court on December 7.

His trial is due to start at the same court on April 15.
