Six people have been arrested so far during a major police operation.

as part of Operation Big Wing, officers are carrying out a series of raids across the borough today targeting crimes including robbery, handling stolen goods, and carrying weapons.

Six arrests! Is that it? How much police overtime did we have to pay for this?

Derek, the overtime cost (if any) isn't the issue, the offences described are fairly serious. In any given area a very small number of individuals are responsible for the majority of crime, six successful convictions could significantly reduce the crime rate in that area.
