Oasis Academy Enfield students impress with Fame performance

Students performing Fame at Oasis Academy last week
Talented drama students brought the house down during the school’s biggest production to date.
The young people from Oasis Academy Enfield, in Enfield Lock, sang their hearts out during their performance of the musical Fame.
The evening show, which ran between Tuesday February 12 and Thursday February 14, told the tale of a group of students struggling to make the grade either in music, acting or dance.
Head of drama Natalie Turner said: “I would like to congratulate the students for an outstanding performance of storytelling and entertainment. Highlights included singing, dancing and a finale that brought the house down.
"Congratulations to all involved. We are so very proud of you each and every one of you.”
Following the show’s success, the drama department are planning to put on a Grease performance next year.
