Negus Mclean was murdered on April 10 last year
Three teenagers accused of killing 15-year-old Negus Mclean almost two years ago have pleaded not guilty to his murder.
Billal Lariba, 18, of Mayall Close in Enfield Lock, Brandon Hamilton, 18, of Broad Oak Avenue in Freezywater, and Tershan Edwards, 19, from St Albans, all deny murdering the schoolboy.
The suspects appeared at the Old Bailey yesterday morning.
They were remanded in custody and are due to reappear at the court when their trial begins on April 8.
The former Edmonton County School student was stabbed in the chest and thigh as he tried to protect his brother from being attacked in Westminster Road in Edmonton on April 10, 2011.
The teenagers were charged with his murder in November last year.
