Spice Girl and Heart FM DJ Emma Bunton 'in bits' after losing dog near Trent Park, Enfield
Spice Girl Emma Bunton, now a DJ with Heart FM, took to Twitter this afternoon to plead for help in finding her dog
Spice Girl Emma Bunton is pleading with fans to help find her dog that went missing near an Enfield Park this afternoon.
The Heart FM DJ, who lives in the Finchley area, begged followers of her Twitter account to keep an eye out in East Barnet, Hadley Wood and Trent Park, in north Enfield, for her beloved brown Labrador.
The 37-year-old, famously known as Baby Spice from the 1990s pop band, has been “in bits” since her pet disappeared on its daily walk today.
She wrote on the social networking site: “My gorgeous brown Labrador went missing on daily walk (sic), she will be so scared please look out around East Barnet, Hadley Wood, Trent Park.
“Her name is Phoebe!! She is so gentle, please look out for her. I’m in bits, thank you for all your reassuring messages! Please keep looking."
Bunton also wrote that the animal has been chipped, increasing the chances of identifying her if found.
The songwriter’s plea has already been retweeted more than 1,500 times, with many fans sending messages of sympathy to the pop star.
The singer, who was born in Finchley and went to Underhill School in High Barnet, moved back to the area in 2006 after gaining worldwide fame with the Spice Girls.
Having previously split, the band reunited most recently at the London Olympic Games closing ceremony.
