Scouts from 18th Edmonton troop grill MP Andy Love on political issues
1:41pm Monday 28th January 2013 in News By Bruce Thain
Scouts questioned an MP about working with Boris and lowering the voting age at their troop meeting last week.
Members of the 18th Edmonton Scout Group welcomed MP Andy Love to a Question Time-style event at their troop meeting at Bush Hill Park Methodist Church in Wellington Road on Friday.
Scouts asked questions for an hour on a number of subjects including the lowering of the voting age to 16, Mr Love’s international visits and about working with Mayor of London Boris Johnson.
The MP for Edmonton said: “I was very impressed to be questioned so intelligently for so long by these young people. They said they are the future and I think the future is in safe hands."

My MP was doing open sessions when anyone could ask him questions, this MP on wants us to be impressed he ask was quizzed by the boy scouts??
Its hard to imagine that even bright kids have much experience of many of the issues which dog us everyday or the lengh of memory to remember why Mr Love may be forgetting the mess his lot got us into.
Seriously though, I don't think we should criticise an MP for this, they should be speaking with all parts of the community, including young people who want to make their voice heard.

It really is another non story though - bit of advertising for Mr Love.
