Charity calls for volunteers to work in Enfield shop
5:25pm Friday 25th January 2013 in News By Bruce Thain
A charity which helps children is calling for volunteers to help work in its shops.
The Children’s Society, which has a shop in Chaseside, Enfield, is calling for people to give up a few hours of their week to volunteer at their shop.
Tina Fellstrom from the charity said: “Our volunteers are the cornerstone of our work.
“Without their selfless dedication, our work to create a better life for the most disadvantaged children would be impossible.
“Whether it’s a few hours a day or a couple of days a week, their contribution is invaluable.”
The charity supports some of the most disadvantaged children in the country and fights against childhood poverty and neglect.
Those interested in volunteering at the shop can find out more information by visiting the The Children’s Society website and searching for volunteers.
