A bus offering people health checks and medical advice embarked on a two-week tour of Enfield on Tuesday.

People aged between 40 and 74 will be able to get free blood pressure, diabetes and weight checks on the Enfield health bus.

The bus, sponsored by Enfield Borough Council and pharmaceutical company Pfizer, stopped at Asda in Edmonton Green yesterday and will be in the supermarket car park until Friday.

The clinic, which will have health experts on board to answer people’s questions, will then move onto Market Place, in Enfield, next week before moving onto Ponders End Library, in College Court High Street on Wednesday.

On Thursday next week it will move onto Palmers Green Library, in Broomfield Lane and will finish its tour of the borough at the Ridge Avenue Library in Church Street on Friday January 26.
