Nominate the borough's best athletes for the Enfield Borough Council’s 2013 Celebrating Sports Awards

The search is on to find the borough's best athletes for an annual awards ceremony.

Nominations are open for Enfield Borough Council’s 2013 Celebrating Sports Awards, which seeks to find outstanding athletes, coaches, clubs and volunteers.

Winners in each of the ten categories will receive a glass plaque, certificate and a prize donated by Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, which is supporting the competition.

Councillor Bambos Charalambous, Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure, said: “Enfield is proud of its great legacy for sport, and now these fantastic awards give you the chance to nominate someone or a group in the community that you think deserves a special mention.”
