A woman stabbed in Enfield Island Village six weeks ago has died from her injuries.

Akua Agyueman, 23, died yesterday morning at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel after she was found injured in Gunner Drive on November 6.

Her husband, 37-year-old Minta Adiddo of Rigby Place in Enfield Lock, appeared at Wood Green Crown Court in November charged with her attempted murder.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the same court in Lordship Lane on Thursday, January 31.
