A 16-year-old boy has been killed after falling from scaffolding in Wanstead.
Alfie Perrin, from Enfield, died on Wednesday after falling from a two-storey house in Camden Road at approximately 3pm.
He was rushed to an east London hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Police are treating his death as unexplained and would like to speak to anyone with information.
His next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem found his cause of death to be a head injury.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned until a later date.
A joint investigation into his death has been launched by the Health and Safety Executive.
