A park has been transformed following a £157,000 renovation.
The play area in Weir Hall Recreation Ground in Weir Hall Avenue has been modernised and new bins and benches have been installed throughout the park.
The path and entrance have also been done up and Enfield Borough Council has reviewed the maintenance plan to make sure the park is well maintained.
The makeover came after members of the Friends of Weir Hall Recreation Ground complained that the park was below standard.
It was paid for over using cash from the council as well as the council’s Residents’ Priority Fund.
Marc Ellul, from the Friends of Weir Hall Recreation Ground, said the park has been "dramatically" transformed and is a far more attractive and user friendly place for families to enjoy.
Cabinet member for environment, Councillor Chris Bond, said: "Our parks are the jewel in Enfield's crown, we are very proud of them and will do everything we can to maintain them in good condition while providing the facilities there that residents want and desire.
“The latest set of improvements in Weir Hall Recreation Ground have gone down well with park users and residents and as a result of the care we've taken on improving the park, visitor numbers have noticeably increased.”
