The 28-year-old from Lower Edmonton was murdered in Montagu Road on Saturday at the junction of Goodwin Road in Lower Edmonton.

Police were called at 11.10pm to reports of an assault, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The inquest into Mr Palmer’s death was opened and adjourned at North London Coroners Court in Barnet on Tuesday.

The date for it to reopen has not been set.
