4) Mandela: Let Freedom Reign

Darryl Van Leer retells the story of one of our greatest leaders, from his early life to becoming leader of the ANC. He delivers the famous “I am Prepared to Die“ speech at his treason trial where he received a life sentence. Describing the 27 dark years in prison, but also how the Apartheid regime is forced to contend with the unstoppable international outcry. At the climax, he delivers his renowned inaugural address in which he urges all in the new Rainbow Nation to “Let Freedom Reign.“

5) This The History of African Girl Child Education

The plight of more than 300 girls kidnapped from their boarding school in Chibok, Borno State in Northern Nigeria by Boko Haram, made headline news. This event will pay tribute to the courage of the girls by exploring the topic that education is a basic human right and discussing the challenges that poverty and under-development bring.
