Tomorrow's episode will see the Doctor, played by Crouch End's Peter Capaldi, and his companion Clara go on an adventure in Sherwood Forest.
The BBC has made a last minute edit to Saturday's episode of Doctor Who, Robot of Sherwood, to remove footage where a character is beheaded after the murder of two journalists by Islamic State militants.
The corporation said it had done it "out of respect" after a video released this week showed the beheading of American reporter Steven Sotloff by the same masked jihadi, believed to be British, who murdered James Foley last month.
Several seconds of footage were edited out of the climax of this week's show which involves a fight scene between Robin Hood (Tom Riley) and the Sheriff of Nottingham (Ben Miller).
