The owners of a stately apartment in a stunning Tudor mansion in Hertfordshire, wanted their en suite bathroom to be the ultimate in luxury and relaxation and chose a top of the range Aquavision waterproof television to be installed.

The gadget-loving couple had their home technologically overhauled giving them the ultimate lifestyle of comfort and convenience. The bathroom was no exception to this project, and they enlisted the help of ClearSphere, a local company specialising in the supply and installation of technology for the modern home.

The home owners had longed for a bathroom television and had the Aquavision 19-inch S4 waterproof television installed. Alistair Ingram, director of ClearSphere explained: “Aquavision’s range of bathroom TVs are a firm favourite. They are reliable, easy to install and really add a ‘wow-factor’ to any bathroom. Our clients love being able to catch up on their favourite programmes while relaxing in the bath.”

The 19-inch high-end S4 models feature RS232 control, integrated Freeview digital and analogue tuners, a component video, Sky Link, S-Video and analogue PC input, an HDMI input, full scart connection and built in games. The screens accept both industry standard ‘High Definition’ video formats (1080i and 720p) perfect for watching the latest HDTV and high definition movies.

As well as the Aquavision waterproof television, Clearsphere installed intelligent lighting in the bathroom comprising halogen spots and a colour changing fibre optic system and an in-ceiling, single stereo speaker, playing both the left and right channel via one speaker – great for small rooms that do not require two speakers.

The Aquavision S4 range is available in three finishes: polar white, black, and MirrorVision – when the television is off, the glass takes the form of a mirror. The MirrorVision also comes as a bespoke application whereby Aquavision can manufacture any size required.
